THE CHALLENGE
This National Manufacturer operates 17 diverse companies and is the market leader in several categories.   With more than 30 wireless contracts in place and utilizing a mix of individual liable and corporate liable devices, the monthly expense and management burden was spiraling out of control. 

They issued a wireless RFP in an attempt to renegotiate with their Tier 1 carriers in order to lower their monthly expense.  The initial intent of the Indirect Commodity Team was to sign a new contract with each carrier and allow each individual business unit to implement their own solution resulting in 17 different solutions. 

The Indirect Commodity Team wanted to leverage their aggregate buying power while providing for the flexibility required to meet the needs of the business units.

THE SOLUTION
